We’ve travelled the world several times a year for decades (save the same two-year Covid-19 timeout as everyone) and those years of travel have given us the ability to find some of the most interesting places, locate the top lodging, identify great guides, and search out singular experiences for clients of our small bespoke travel consultancy. We utilize our unquenchable thirst to experience the art, culture, history, food and people of the far corners of this diverse planet in support of that quest.
What began years ago just with friends and acquaintances asking for help and advice in planning trips—after hearing our stories and seeing our photos—grew into a distinctive custom-travel consultancy.
Our boutique tailored travel-planning business is oriented toward select and discriminating clients—frankly those with means to search out the best. Our broad and deep travel experience gives us the ability to organize terrific trips based on first-hand knowledge. Recent Travels
We broke out of lockdown in September with a trip to London and Oxford in England, and before the pandemic, at Christmas 2019 we re-visited Costa Rica on the Windstar small luxury ship Star Pride, and transited the Panama Canal. The September before, we fulfilled a bucket-list item of Troy's and took a Grand Canal-front palazzo to visit Venice's famous Regatta Storica.
The previous spring, we travelled for the first time in decades to Copenhagen, a fantastic water-oriented city with amazing contemporary architecture. A short eight-mile trip across the Øresund Bridge, connecting Denmark to Sweden, lies the interesting southwestern city of Malmö. Late the prior year we spent New Years in the colonial Mexican towns of Puebla and Oaxaca, and the previous fall finally made it to the Pushkar Camel Fair in the Rajasthan. We also checked out the island of Malta—full of history, and re-visited Paris, Florence and Rome, magical cities in winter, searching for the best new hotels and experiences.
